Premier Specialty Imaging was founded by Sergio Zamora Jr., Chief Imaging Systems Engineer, following more than 15 years of progressive technical and leadership experience in healthcare technology and diagnostic imaging.
Sergio began his career in biomedical equipment service, where he developed a strong foundation in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical safety, clinical equipment support, and the importance of dependable service within a healthcare environment. As his experience grew, he advanced into lead and supervisory positions, eventually overseeing biomedical engineering operations, supporting technicians, coordinating service priorities, managing compliance requirements, and helping healthcare facilities maintain safe and reliable equipment.
His career later transitioned into diagnostic medical imaging with a major OEM, where he completed extensive manufacturer training and earned certifications through a leading global imaging-equipment manufacturer. As an imaging systems engineer, Sergio supported hospitals and healthcare facilities across a wide geographic area, working with complex interventional, radiographic, fluoroscopic, mobile, and network-connected imaging systems. That experience strengthened not only his technical expertise, but also his understanding of what hospitals truly need from a service provider: responsiveness, accuracy, clear communication, professional documentation, and accountability.
Throughout his career, Sergio continued expanding his knowledge across multiple manufacturers and imaging platforms while becoming a trusted escalation resource for difficult technical problems. His work has included preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, system diagnostics, calibration and performance verification, installations, deinstallations, networking support, and the restoration of critical imaging systems to dependable operation.
Premier Specialty Imaging was created from that experience and from a clear vision: to provide healthcare organizations with highly skilled, OEM-level support while maintaining the personal attention, flexibility, and direct communication of an independent service company.
